  1. The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed a 19-year-old was killed in a Woodstock motorcycle crash last week. According to the sheriff’s office, Vander Damiano died in a single-vehicle crash on Town Lake Parkway near Rose Creek Drive on Jun. 21. Damiano’s loved ones have created a GoFundMe page to help pay for funeral expenses. “Vander was a beautiful soul and a light to everyone around him,” the webpage’s description said. “We would like to help his family during this difficult time by raising money for memorial purposes.   3. Downtown Woodstock announced TEN Sushi Lounge’s grand opening in Downtown Woodstock will take place on Jul. 2.   4. 247Sports featured Friday’s top performers in the second June scholastic period. Brandon Rechsteiner, a 6-foot-1 point guard from Woodstock was one of the featured players.
